Welcome to The Perennial Exchange! If you are interested in gardening, you have come to the right place. The Exchange has plant swaps twice a year where you can meet local gardeners, trade plants, hear from great speakers, and tour local gardens.
Members exchange plants to offset the cost of commercial nurseries. Members leave the plant swap with car loads of free plants.
Our members are generous and always willing to give away plants to help new gardeners.
Plant swaps include workshops, speakers and tours to enhance our members' knowledge.
The Perennial Exchange promotes the use of native plants, whenever possible, to preserve natural ecological communities.
The club has members with diverse backgrounds, some with little gardenting knowledge, some who are master gardeners. The club is a great forum for sharing gardening ideas.
Members are mostly located in central and southern Indiana. Plant swaps are rotated between counties to make it convenient for members. Many friendships have been formed over the years since the club was formed in 1995.

10:00 – 10:30 Plant Swap

10:45 – 11:30 Business Meeting and Elections
11:30 - 12:00 Presentation - Bring you own bag lunch!
FINAL CLEAN UP -- Please Help!
Set-up will follow the same plan as usual. Set out your plants, label all plants clearly and keep the area underneath the table for plants that you will have traded and will be taking home. While setting up, grab some continental breakfast and start looking for plants you may want. At 10:00, we will start the swap. Please only take one of the same plant per person since others may want that plant! Contact the table owner for additional plants.
More information will be forthcoming! Check back in April!
Membership dues were waived for 2020. The Executive Committee is evaluating the need for dues in 2021. More information will be forthcoming. NOTE: All 2020 dues paid will be applied to our next round of dues collection.
